Temporary mortuary to be built inside Cambridge Airport hangar
A temporary mortuary will be built inside a hangar in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire County Council has said.
The facility will be a pre-fabricated building inside the hangar at Marshall Aerospace and Defence at Cambridge Airport, the authority said. Work will begin on Wednesday.
It will only be used by funeral directors and those looking after the site, with no access to the public and no post-mortem examination activity taking place there.
