Norfolk MP reveals his brother is 'badly ill' with Covid-19
Mid Norfolk MP George Freeman has revealed that his brother has contracted Covid-19.
Mr Freeman said the 58-year-old is seriously ill with the virus.
It comes as the MP posted a video warning that distribution of PPE to NHS staff is taking too long to get all who need it, especially GPs and care homes.
Mr Freeman said he was working with companies to try and ensure supplies would get through.
He also said that the county was about to experience a peak in demand for services. He paid tribute to Norfolk County Council and hospitals throughout the county for their work in freeing up beds. He said around 60% of people who were in hospital have been able to be moved out into the community.
