Coronavirus cases top 1,100 in the Anglia region
The latest daily figures of confirmed coronavirus cases in the Anglia region have reached 1,105 until 9am on Saturday morning.
It is an increase of 227 cases since Friday, a rise of 26%.
The counties with the highest numbers of infected people are those closest to London like Essex with 269 and Hertfordshire with 262. The number of cases in Cambridgeshire jumped by one third in 24 hours.
England's smallest county, Rutland, which borders Northamptonshire, recorded its first two cases. The total population of the entire county is under 40,000.

Bedfordshire - 126 cases (up 17 since yesterday)
Cambridgeshire - 105 cases (up 26)
Essex - 269 cases (up 60)
Hertfordshire - 262 cases (up 56)
Milton Keynes - 71 cases (up 13)
Norfolk - 90 cases (up 20)
Northamptonshire - 106 cases (up 20)
Rutland - 2 cases (up 2)
Suffolk - 74 (up 13)
The Bedfordshire figures are Bedford, Luton and Central Bedfordshire combined. Cambridgeshire includes Peterborough and Essex includes Southend and Thurrock.
