University of Northampton gives rooms to NHS for staff and patients
The University of Northampton has offered the NHS 300 rooms which aren't being used by students to ease pressure during the coronavirus outbreak.
The rooms at the Spencer Perceval halls in Boughton Green Road will be made available to hospital patients and those in social care that do not have the virus.
This will free-up space at Northampton General Hospital for those who require oxygen or critical care during the current crisis.
The University is also giving free parking at the University’s Waterside Campus to Northampton General Hospital staff.
