Gallery: High streets empty as country goes into Coronavirus lockdown

All "non-essential" businesses have been ordered to close to prevent the spread of Covid-19, leaving high streets in the Anglia region virtually empty.

The government have published a list of those retailers allowed to stay open, including food shops, pharmacies and petrol stations.

The public have also been ordered to stay at home, except for food shopping, exercise, medical need or essential travel to work.
