MP's urge Londoners and holidaymakers not to visit the East during the Coronavirus outbreak
Two Norfolk MP's are urging second home owners and holidaymakers not to visit the county during the Coronavirus outbreak.
George Freeman, the MP for Mid Norfolk, took to Twitter to urge visitors to stay out of Norfolk for a while as the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital urged people not to attend.
Meanwhile the MP for North Norfolk Duncan Baker has also issued an urgent plea saying "it is not what I ever thought I would have to say- but turning away visitors is paramount at this time."
In an open letter on travelling and holiday in North Norfolk he said there were several reasons why he was asking people not to visit.
It comes as some traders in seaside towns like Southwold in Suffolk reported busy trade today- leading to fears people are not socially distancing themselves.
