Norfolk high school holds emotional 'fake prom' before closing
A Norfolk high school has pulled together to stage a last-minute prom for tearful students left heartbroken by the coronavirus crisis closures.
With schools closing today to try to halt the spread of the outbreak, Alderman Peel High School, in Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk, decided to give its Year 11 leavers the big send-off they thought they'd miss out on.

Staff organised the prom in a matter of hours, with teachers bringing in dresses for pupils and local companies donating decorations.
