He said yes ! Girlfriend takes over cinema for Leap Year day proposal

Musician Matt Philpott from Gorleston in Norfolk went to the cinema and ended up with a marriage proposal on the big screen!

Girlfriend Aneliese Rix took advantage of Leap Year's day to play this film!

It had taken Aneliese Rix, a funeral director, over a year to arrange and about sixty friends and family were in on the surprise. Matt thought he was going to see the movie Sonic The Hedgehog !

The manager of the cinema had printed fake tickets for the special showing and laid on a Rolls Royce to whisk the happy couple away.Matt, by the way, had not heard of the tradition where women can propose on February 29th when it comes around every four years.
