Multi-million pound redevelopment of Marsh Farm in Luton has official opening ceremony
The final phase of a regeneration project in Luton is almost complete.
The redevelopment of Marsh Farm has seen aged homes replaced with brand new apartments, houses and retail spaces.
The estate has had a troubled past, and campaigners have been working for years to see the site transformed. The 32 million pound redevelopment has been led by the community, including one man in particular - Tony Jules - who was passionate about improving the area.

His son, Taj Jules, unveiled a plaque in his honour yesterday at the opening ceremony.
In the 90s the estate hit the headlines after a series of riots but now people living here are determined to leave that past behind, holding on the community spirit that always made it home.
