Four schools in the East close over Coronavirus risk
Four schools in the region are closed today to tackle a potential coronavirus risk.
Among them is the William Martin Junior, Infant and Nurseries school in Harlow.
They decided to shut after a teacher returned from Italy where the virus has been rapidly spreading.
Elsewhere primary schools near Spalding in Lincolnshire are also closed.
One of them is the primary school at Lutton St Nicholas.
The other is Gedney Church End Primary School.
Elsewhere the Lime Academy Watergall,Peterborough has closed for the rest of the week.
However speaking in the Commons, the Health Secretary and West Suffolk MP Matt Hancock said unless schools get specific professional advice they should stay open.
