£6 million to be spent on Oxburgh Hall
The National Trust is set to spend six million pounds restoring Oxburgh Hall in Norfolk.
It's part of the organisation's biggest ever conservation spend on historic houses, collections and countryside.
It'll be funded in part by the increase in membership which comes into force this year.
As part of the spending the conservation charity, which marks its 125th anniversary this year, has pledged sustained investment in nature and the environment, including planting 20 million trees over a decade.
The investment, which also includes a shift to renewable energy, restoring rivers and improving the energy efficiency of its historic places, is part of its plans to become carbon neutral by 2030
The cost of an individual membership will go up by £4.80 a year, while joint and family tickets will see the biggest increase of £7.80 a year.
National Trust membership reached 5.9 million in the last year, with the figure expected to top six million this year.
