Norfolk's Alfie Hewett and partner Gordon Reid win Australian Open title

Norfolk wheelchair tennis player Alfie Hewett is celebrating another Grand Slam victory, after he and partner Gordon Reid claimed the doubles title at the Australian Open for the first time.

The pair beat top seeds Stéphane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer 4-6 6-4 (10-7) in Friday's final in Melbourne.

The victory means Hewett and Reid have now won three of the four Grand Slams on offer, with only the French Open left to conquer.

Hewett and Reid have been finalists at the Australian Open twice before in 2017 and 2018, but lost on both occasions.
