Life's a beach: Cambridgeshire tech firm converts meeting space into replica of Southwold seafront

A technology firm in St Neots have converted their meeting area into Southwold seafront - including a replica of the town's famous pub.

Pico Technology have decked out the space with beach huts, a fishing boat a model of The Harbour Inn.

The firm, which based across two sites in an industrial estate, said they hoped the room would be a place employees wanted to come.

Alan Tong, Managing Director, said: "We wanted to create an area that people would want to come over the road from the other building to spend some time in.

"Most kitchens, canteens feel like you're still in the office. We wanted to create something that was completely different."

The firm chose Southwold because they own a holiday cottage in the town, which is renown as one of the premier coastal destinations in East Anglia.
