Police search for escaped Suffolk prisoner

Police have appealed for help to trace a prisoner who has absconded from Hollesley Bay prison.

James McDonagh aged 26, was reported missing after failing to attend a roll call at 5pm on 4 January.

McDonagh is serving a four-year and seven-month sentence for aggravated burglary.

He is described as white, 6ft 3 inches tall and of slight build. He has short brown hair, blue eyes, and a tattoo on his right arm.

He has connections with the Cambridge area.

Anyone who believes they may have seen McDonagh or who has any information regarding his whereabouts should call Suffolk Police on 101 quoting CAD 251 of 4 July.
