Boxing Day dips in the sea take place around the coast to raise money for charity and thousands more go along to watch.
Many of the people taking part were in fancy dress and the RNLI and coastguards were on hand to make sure everyone was safe.
At 11 o'clock it was a mad dash into the sea, where the temperature was just 8 degrees.
The dip at Cromer is organised by the North Norfolk Beach Runners and raises money for charity.
The dip has been a Boxing Day tradition in Cromer for more than 30 years.
More than 300 people took part and helped raise £3,000 for the Cromer Children's Charity.
Planning's already underway for next year's dip.
