Warnings issued and Christmas events cancelled as flood problems continue
Flooding is continuing to cause problems across the region, with roads and fields turned to rivers and Christmas events cancelled.
Several flood alerts remain in place, particularly in Cambridgeshire where the Environment Agency said the Whittlesey Wash flood storage reservoir "is being operated to protect nearby communities from flooding".
Huntingdon Racecourse has already been forced to cancel its Boxing Day racing after flood damage to the stables, weighing room and other areas.

It comes after more heavy rain across the region over the weekend.
The A1101 Welney Wash has been flooded again and looks set to remain closed.
Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said they have rescued two vehicles stuck in the flood waters at Welney over the last few days.
