Victim and suspects in Norwich stabbing are 'all students', say police
Police have confirmed an attack in Norwich which left one man with stab wounds to his stomach was a fight between university students.
Officers were called just before 3am on 11 December to Bluebell Road following reports a man in his 20s had been injured.
Three people were arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. A 20-year-old man has since been released on bail until January 2020 while a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman have been released under investigation.
The victim remains in a stable condition at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital.
Police confirmed all those involved in the fight were students from the University of East Anglia.
A spokesman for the university said it would be inappropriate to comment on an ongoing police investigation, but sought to reassure students.
