Man stabbed in attack in Thetford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was repeatedly stabbed in Thetford yesterday (Monday 9 December).

Officers were called to a property in St Albans Way at approximately 1.40am following reports that the man is 20s had received several stab wounds to his back and arms. He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.

Another man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in police custody. Police say they thing the two men knew each other.

The weapon used in the attack still hasn't been recovered though and could have been discarded nearby. Police are urging anyone who finds a knife, not to touch it and to call police immediately.
