Electric bus company to open new factory in Norfolk
A Norfolk company which designs and builds chassis for electric buses around the world are opening a new factory.
Equipmake export their chassis to countries including Brazil, Argentina and India. The firm claim their technology allows bus companies to build electric vehicles without any prior knowledge of electric technology.
On Friday, 6 December they are formally opening a purpose-built factory in Snetterton, which will host 48 employees; previously the firm were based in Hethel.
Their staff are currently working on developing low-floor versions of their chassis for both single and double-decker buses.
