Norfolk actress Olivia Colman made CBE at Buckingham Palace ceremony

She's already won an Oscar this year, and now the Norfolk actress Olivia Colman has received the royal seal of approval...

The 45-year-old was made a CBE for services to drama under her married name Sarah Sinclair at a special ceremony on Thursday.

Unfortunately, she didn't get a chance to meet the Queen who she will play in the next couple of series of the hit Netflix series 'The Crown.'

Instead, she was given her award by the Princess Royal at Buckingham Palace.

Colman is no stranger to playing monarchy having landed the best actress Oscar for her performance as Queen Anne in 'The Favourite.'

She will take over from Claire Foy for the upcoming series of 'The Crown' which is due to return to Netflix later this year.
