World Puddle Jumping Championships held in Kettering

Forget the Rugby World Cup final - the foremost sporting event of this week could be found in Kettering on Wednesday.
The World Puddle Jumping Championships took place at Wicksteed Park, with marks given for things like height of jump and distance of splash,
The annual event, which attracts around 50 children, was in its seventh year.
It ended with 11-year-old Jamie Claridge, from Wellingborough, being crowned Puddle Jumping Champion, and a great deal of mud everywhere.
