Children from a primary school in Norfolk got a big surprise when a giant animatronic hare bounded into their assembly on Tuesday.

The pupils at Weeting Primary in Brandon were learning about wild animals and their habitats when the hare hopped in to say hello.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust are running conservation classes in schools across the county to teach children about wildlife, in particular caring for hares.
