Three released in Thetford murder investigation

Three people arrested in connection with the murder of a 25-year-old man in Thetford have been released while investigations continue.

On 3 October, David Lawal was found dead at the side of Brandon road in Thetford. Despite efforts by members of the public, paramedics and police officers, he was pronounced dead at the scene just before 8pm.

Two men, aged 26 and 29, have been released under investigation. Meanwhile, a 17-year-old male has been bailed until 30 October.

Officers believe the suspects and victims were known to each other. They are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.

A fourth man, arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of possessing a bladed article and Class A drugs, was released under investigation on 5 October.
