Police hunt pair for hate crime against trans woman

Essex Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to talk to in connection with a hate crime in Chelmsford involving a transgender woman.

The incident happened on August 19 but details have only just been released. The victim says she was alarmed and distressed by comments made as she walked off Sandford Road.

Essex Police would like to hear from anyone who recognises the men or has information about the incident.

People are being asked to call Chelmsford Community Policing Team on 101 quoting crime reference 42/133250/19.
