Police warning over absconded Hollesley Bay prisoner
A prisoner sentenced for five counts of robbery has absconded from Hollesley Bay in Suffolk.
Andrew Doherty, 39, was reported as missing by the prison on Friday 27th September.
He was last seen working in the prison gardens.
Police say he should not be approached by the public.
Doherty is described as white, 5ft 8 inches tall and of thin build and clean shaven.
He has blue eyes, and speaks with a Welsh accent and has a tattoo on his left arm of a Romany Eye. He has links to South Wales.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts should call Suffolk Police on 101 quoting CAD 218.
