Community becoming a 'calm town' to nurture better mental health
A Cambridgeshire town a young man recently took his own life is working to nurture better mental health by creating a support network within the community.
It is hoped that by creating a so-called 'Calm Town' in St Ives near Huntingdon more people will be encouraged to reach out for help

Matt Finch is a methodist minister and one of the driving forces behind Calm - the Campaign Against Living Miserably.
Calm has no central hub, no pot of government money to be spent. Instead it's about bringing people together in a thousand different ways to prevent the isolation that can lead to depression and suicide.
In 2018 around 6,500 people in Britain took their own lives. That's around 18 every single day. Three quarters of them were men and it's the biggestkiller of men under the age of 45.
