Drink driver arrested for travelling 15 miles on wrong side of A11 in Norfolk
Police have labelled a drink driver "absolutely disgraceful" for using the wrong side of the A11 in Norfolk.
The male, who was arrested overnight, travelled 15 miles from Attleborough to Thetford before being stopped by officers.
He was using the northbound carriageway to travel south.
According to Breckland Police, the man was also over the drink drive limit when tested, recording a reading of 55 micrograms. The current limit in the UK is 35.
Roadworks are taking place on a stretch of the southbound carriageway from Attleborough overnight this week, meaning a closure is in place.
