Lightning strikes as storms move across region

As the heatwave continues much of the East of England has been experiencing thunder and lightning.

Many experienced heavy rainfall overnight as a storm stuck the region.

A yellow weather warning was issued by the Met Office asking people to be aware of the conditions.

They warned of possible disruption to power and urged motorists to take care on wet roads.
