Film boost for Bury St Edmunds
Tourism bosses in Bury St Edmunds are hoping for a boost with a date announced for the release of the David Copperfield film partly shot in the town last year.
Angel Hill was transformed into Victorian London.
The production also shot in Athenaeum Lane, Chequers Square and the Theatre Royal.
The British Film Institute has announced the movie's premiere will be opening its London Film Festival on October 2 at Leicester Square, and tourism chiefs in Suffolk are hoping it will bring film fans flocking to the area.
The film features a crop of top British talent, including Dev Patel, Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton, Peter Capaldi, Paul Whitehouse, Ben Whishaw and Gwendoline Christie.
It's estimated the production spent more than £82,000 in Bury on accommodation, location fees and catering.
