Man jailed for trying to run over the same man twice
A man has been jailed for 18 months after he twice tried to run over a man in Cambridgeshire.
Boyd Docherty, who's 24, was driving a grey Citroen Picasso in Eye near Peterborough last June, when he attempted to run over a man before crashing into a row of parked cars.
He fled the scene but was later identified by members of the public and from CCTV in the area
He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and criminal damage at Peterborough Crown Court and was sentenced to 18 monthsand one month for criminal damage to be served concurrently. He's also been banned from driving for 3 years and seven months.
