Hunt for missing student centres on Stevenage

Joy Morgan went missing on Boxing Day

Hertfordshire Police have announced that the hunt for a missing student will continue in Stevenage.

Joy Morgan, 20, and a University of Hertfordshire student, was last seen in Ilford on Boxing Day last year.

The midwifery student was reported missing from Hatfield on February 7.

Shohfah-El Israel, aged 40, of Fordwych Road, London, has been chargedwith murder.

After Joy was reported missing, numerous searches were carried out in the Stevenage area of Hertfordshire.

Over the next week, specialist officers will be conducting further searches in and around the town.

Detective Inspector Justine Jenkins, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire MajorCrime Unit, said:

DI Jenkins said she was still keen to hear from anyone who has information about the Honda vehicle (pictured below) which belongs to Israel.

Police need to trace movements of this vehicle

Joy had links to Hatfield, Stevenage, Battersea, Cricklewood, Ilford and Luton.
