A special plaque is to be unveiled in Norwich in honour of one of the city's most famous sons.

Dancer Vernon Castle grew up Norwich and went on to become a huge worldwide star alongside his wife Irene in the early 20th century.

The blue plaque will be unveiled by Dame Darcey Bussell at the Premier Inn on Prince of Wales Road on Tuesday afternoon.

The hotel, which used to be called the Great Eastern Hotel, was run by Mr Castle's family in the late 1800s.

He died in a place crash in 1918.
