Norwich City will play Premier League football again next season after they sealed promotion with a 2-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers at Carrow Road.

There were emotional scenes at the final whistle as Canaries fans and players celebrated their return to the top flight.

Before a ball was kicked this season, Norwich were seen as rank outsiders to be promoted after they were forced to sell influential midfielders James Maddison and Josh Murphy to balance the books.

However, they defied the odds to achieve the impossible and can now look forward to welcoming English football's elite clubs to Norfolk again for the first time since 2016.
