Girl who found medication that helped her seizures told that it can't be administered at the school she attends

The parents of a girl from Cambridgeshire who was suffering up to 100 seizures a day have been told the school won't administer the medication which has helped her condition significantly.

Lucy Conrad found that CBD, the cannabiodoil treatment helped her situation so much that she's now gone 80 days without a single seizure.

The oil is legal and is sold as a food supplement in many places.

In a statement Cambrideshire County Council said: "The school is not able to administer any unlicensed medicines or substances or over-the-counter medication to pupils.

"The school, the local authority education team and partners from health and social care are working closely with the family to explore options and provide support within the current legislation and guidelines."
