Peterborough boxing club helps transform troubled lives

Peterborough charity Boxing Futures has impacted the lives of around 300 men since it was founded. The initiative was set up in 2013 and uses non-contact boxercise classes to teach discipline and self-respect.

Boxing Futures trainers say they've seen huge changes in some of the men they've coached. Some arrived in this country as refugees, while some others struggle with mental health issues.

Before the men train, they're encouraged to talk through any problems they have.

A new group for women, Sisters Through Boxing, is being organised by Boxing Futures trainer Sarah Huebler.

The women's group begins in May and will work with young women who've suffered abuse.
