'Snowdrop thieves' charged by police in Norfolk
Three men have been charged with the theft of snowdrops from a country estate in Norfolk.
Police stopped a car on the A148 at Little Walsingham at around 2am on March 13. Inside was a large number of the spring flowers.
They are thought to have been taken from the grounds of Walsingham Abbey.
Norfolk Police said three men had been charged with theft and criminal damage. They are: Peter Gibbs, 30, of Colville Road, Newton-in-the-Isle, Cambridgeshire; Louis Stoker, 22, of Walton Road, East Winch; and Stefan Simpson, 30, of Lilac Close in Wisbech.
All three have been bailed and are due to appear before King's Lynn magistrates on March 25.
