Chatteris boxer Jordan Gill is eyeing a showdown with Spanish fighter Kiko Martínez for the European title, after he put in a masterful display to outclass Mexico's Emmanuel Dominguez to claim the WBA international belt in Peterborough on Saturday.

Gill, 24, enhanced his ever-growing reputation by stopping Dominguez in the third round at the East of England Showground.

Victory ensured Gill moved into the WBA top 15 in the featherweight division, and following his demolition of Dominguez, he was quick to call out Spain's Martínez.

"I'm ready for bigger and better things," he told Sky Sports.

"I've got two straps and I want more. I'm looking to build, I want to be busy this year, at least two more fights.

"I want Kiko Martínez for the European."

Martínez, 32, has won 39 of his 49 fights so far, but has lost to both Carl Frampton and Josh Warrington in the past.
