Hottest day of the year so far but don't put your woolies away just yet
The UK has again enjoyed a record-breaking warm February day - the second in a row.
The temperature on Tuesday reached 21.2°C at Kew Gardens in London, the highest in the UK in February on record. It was higher than Monday when the record was first broken by a temperature of 20.6°C at Teddington in London and Trawsgoed in Wales.
In the Anglia area it was the warmest day of the year so far with the region basking in balmy temperatures for the sixth day in a row.
Temperatures reached 19.2°C in Santon Downham near Thetford - not quite a record breaker in this region - that was set in February 1990 when it was just a tad higher at 19.4°C
But a big contrast to the snow and ice from last February when the Beast From The East roared in.
