Tornado final flypasts begin as warplane is retired
Three days of final flypasts by the Tornado aircraft begin today to mark the retirement of the warplane after nearly 40 years service.
RAF Tornado jets returned home to the UK for the last time to RAF Marham in Norfolk on 5 February 2019.
The aircraft will go on a flypast tour of Britain until 21 February.
The Tornado has been in service since 1979 and was first used in combat during the first Gulf War.
