Luton Airport's upgraded terminal officially opens

Luton Airport will officially open its newly-upgraded terminal after three years of works.

The refurbishment includes a new dual carriageway, bus interchange and multi-storey car parks.

Inside there are eight additional boarding gates, an expanded security search area plus extra shops and seats.

The £160m project is the biggest in the airport's 80-year history.
