Essex fundraisers 'Walking Home for Christmas' to help veterans

A group of fundraisers in Essex have braved the bad weather to raise money for armed service veterans this Christmas.

The two charities Help for Heroes and Walking with the Wounded have come together for the campaign Walking Home for Christmas.

Walks are taking place across the country in the run up to Christmas to help veterans suffering from mental and physical illness and isolation upon leaving the armed forces.
