It's condemned by some as vandalism and celebrated by others as social expression through spray paint - but one graffiti artist in Norwich has chosen a rather bizarre muse.

Scrawled on walls and spaces, graffiti tributes to actor and comedian Les Dennis have started popping up across the city.

In a style best described as "minimalist", several spots have been given the 'Les' treatment - including in Fishergate and in St Benedict's Street where the paint has already been cleaned off.

People soon started to post their own sightings on social media.

The flattered former Coronation Street and Family Fortunes star has also noticed his Fine City fame.

He took to Twitter this morning (November 22) to deny having any role in the unorthodox "art".
