Flying the flag for the Fens: one man's campaign
One man is campaigning to have his flag representing The Fens officially recogised.
The design features the Fen Tiger- a beast said to stalk the countryside.
But the original Tigers were protesters who opposed the draining of the Fens in the 1600s.
It's creator James Bowman wants it to be recognised by the Flag Institute. Areas like Exmoor and the Black Country already have their own official flags.
The yellow recognises agriculture, blue to represent the waterways and the "Fenland Tiger".
