Dead harbour porpoise washes up on Norfolk beach

A dead harbour porpoise was found washed up between Winterton and Horsey at the weekend.

It was found by Simon Wright who was walking along the shore.

The sub-adult male was freshly dead when it was found although it did appear malnourished.

Porpoise's and dolphins are usually confused but there are differences between the two.

Porpoise or dolphin?
