Two charged with Co-op ram raid in Suffolk
Two people from Bedfordshire have been charged with a break in at a Co-op in Kessingland, Suffolk.
Police were called to the shop in the early hours of Monday morning (September 10).
The front window had been smashed and a Land Rover Defender was used to drag the cash machine outside.
When the Land Rover became stuck the offenders moved the machine into a car which then crashed into two police cars before driving the wrong way down the A12.
Police arrested the pair near Romany Lane where the vehicle was abandoned.
They believe up to five people were involved in the burglary.
