Drug dealer ordered to forfeit £85,000
A man who admitted possessing drugs with intent to supply has been made to forfeit almost £85,000
29-year-old Joe Lee from Cranham Road, Little Waltham was sent to prison for nearly 5 years.
Officers from Essex Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Unit searched Lee’s caravan in March.
They found a kilo clock of cocaine, £31,520 hidden in a shed and £42,730 in a hole in the ground nearby.
A further £10,700 was seized at the same time from a car.
Magistrates ordered the cash was the proceeds of crime and should be forfeited. Lee lost an appeal against the ruling.
