Great Yarmouth's Haven Bridge to be closed again tonight

There will be more work repairing the Haven Bridge in Great Yarmouth tonight meaning there will be a road closure in place from 7pm.

It follows problems with the bridge that has caused traffic gridlock and led to a ship being stranded for over a week.

A signed diversion route will be put in place and there will also be a shuttle bus service for pedestrians.

Norfolk County Council have said that every effort will be made to open the bridge in time for the morning rush hour but there is a chance the work could take 48 hours to complete.
