24 Hours in Police Custody: What happened in the James Cromwell case?

The case of a Cambridge man who was stabbed to death by his childhood friend in a row over drugs will feature on national television tonight (June 4).

24 Hours in Police Custody - the Channel 4 show following Bedfordshire Police - will show how the hunt for the killer of James Cromwell unfolded after his death in June last year.

The 27-year-old died of a single stab wound to the heart in Stretton Avenue. His killer, 25-year-old Abdul Korim Ali, is now serving life in prison.

He was found guilty of murder, following a seven-day trial at Cambridge Crown Court.
