Lowestoft's Claremont Pier on sale for £2.5 million

The Claremont Pier is up for sale- with a £2.5 million price tag.

The Lowestoft icon was built in 1903 and restored after the second world war.

The price includes the pier and its attractions: a roller skating rink, arcade and casino, restaurants and live venues.

It is hoped the new owners will restore it to it's original 600 ft length and rebuild pier head where boats docked.
