Man dies and five other injured following three-vehicle crash in Northamptonshire

A man has died following a three-vehicle crash in Northamptonshire on Easter Monday.

The collision happened just after 6pm on the A605 at Oundle when a silver Ford Fiesta hit two other cars travelling in the opposite direction.

The 23-year-old driver of the Fiesta was declared dead at the scene, while five people who were travelling in one of the other cars involved were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

It's believed that one of those people sustained life-threatening injuries.

The two occupants of the other car weren't injured.
